I wanted something lighter in color as I already have a lot of black things. This sweater/top is nice looking, however the lacy area on the edges is a bit itchy and not as soft as I would expect for the price. I was hoping for a very warm cream beige, it is on a warmer side, but not as warm as the pictures depict it. This top has a bit of the folk-elegance - which I think is timeless and classy.
