Only because I was not quite sure of the size, especially because the return would be difficult (transaction not in US currency?? not sure why). The pants are beautiful, very happy, I will have to have taken in in waist and have about 15 inches of fabric taken off and hemmed, I'm 5'5" and not sure why it was sooo long! But I still love them.

Afraid I returned them. I have an earlier version of the product from years back and it was tapered on the waist and down about 6 inches on the hips but this pair were not at all figure hugging and just hung from the waist. Not flattering at all to my person figure.

The quality of the pants is very good. However, they are sized quite large. I ordered a size down from what I usually wear in JR, and they were still too big, with lots of fabric in the front, so they’re not exactly slimming. A good option, I think, only if you’re very tall and thin.

I am super excited to have found this website. I tried on these pants in a local boutique, but they were slightly too big. I could have taken in the waist, but decided to search for the size 8 on-line, which brought me to the Avenue site, which I had not heard of prior. WOW, the pants were cheaper than local plus shipping was included. I ordered on an Thursday morning, when I noticed they were a Canadian company, so figured it would be a good week for delivery. NOT! These feminine stylish pants arrived the next day packaged and wrapped very nicely. I was shocked. You have earned a customer; I will continue to check your site.
